The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning (Lamentation 3:22-23). I was struck that the above verse occurs in the book of Lamentations; really the name says it all. The verse falls roughly at the halfway point in the book. Rejoicing in the midst of sadness; gratitude for the blessings that are, even if they can only be seen through the vision granted by the Holy Spirit.
